Respiratory Services

The Respiratory Therapy Department at Indianhead Medical Center is committed to your respiratory care. We staff licensed respiratory therapists who are trained to perform both inpatient and outpatient pulmonary tests and respiratory-related treatments. Patients with chronic lung conditions such as asthma, emphysema and cystic fibrosis, as well as those with other cardiopulmonary diseases are given the finest care.

Diagnostic Treatments include:

• Pulse Oximetry

• Medicated Aerosol Treatments
• Arterial Blood Sampling
• Pulmonary Function Testing
• COPD and any other cardiopulmonary disease education
• Mechanical Ventilation
• Non-invasive Mechanical Ventilation (CPAP/BIPAP)
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
