LABORATORY
The Laboratory department at Indianhead Medical Center is a full-service lab, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
We maintain a large, comprehensive testing menu and can provide same day turnaround times on in-house testing. Testing that cannot be done in-house is referred to our reputable reference laboratories.
The IMC Laboratory provides on-site collection services for Terraceview Living Center and Glenview Assisted Living, both located in Shell Lake. We also provide lab services for local home health agencies, outpatients and the Shell Lake Clinic.
The IMC Laboratory is accredited by the Joint Commission. Our certification through the Clinical Laboratory Improvements Amendment (CLIA) allows us to do highly complex testing. Also, as a member of the Wisconsin Laboratory Response Network, we are part of a national network ready to respond to public health emergencies.
