The Lovelite Tree is an annual event where people are able to purchase lights to remember or honor loved ones during the holiday season. White lights are in memory of someone and colored lights honor someone special to you. The Lovelite Tree remembrance is kicked off during the tree lighting ceremony, usually happening the first week of December. The tree is displayed at the end of Shell Lake’s main street in Memorial Park. Cards are available for each light purchased that reads in part, “A lovelite will be shining in your honor”. Names of those honored or remembered will be on display in the lobby of Indianhead Medical Center.
All monies raised support Partners projects and scholarship fund.
